IHI Corporation. news released: IHI Corporation opened “Soma Lab” that is hydrogen research laboratory that uses recyclable energy in Soma city, Fukushima prefecture. ～Promote research on utilization of CO<sub>2</sub> Free Hydrogen ～
IHI Corporation established the “Soma IHI Green Energy Center” in 2018 with the cooperation of Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture and is implementing smart community project. The purpose of the center is to realize local production and consumption of solar power generation, and to contribute to the reconstruction and development of the region in Soma City.
Currently, SIGC opened the “Soma Laboratory”, a hydrogen research building that promotes research using CO2-free hydrogen, and started operations in September 2020.
