The 5th Super Smart Society Promotion Forum will be held
Super Smart Society Promotion Consortium hosts The 5th Super Smart Society Promotion Forum titled “Towards Super Smart Society in Carbon Neutral Era”. In this forum, innovative technologies and the latest findings will be introduced from a wide range of such perspectives towards the carbon neutral era as global environment and sustainability, decarbonization, smart cities and new social systems, zero carbon mobility, energy management, solid fuel cells, and so on. Furthermore, a discussion will be given on future vision on this theme.
Ken Okazaki (Specially Appointed Professor, InfoSyEnergy Industry-academia collaborative research division special advisor) and Manabu Ihara( Head of InfoSyEnergy Research and Education Consortium) will give lectures.

The activities of the InfoSyEnergy Research and Education Consortium were introduced in the article “2022 New Year’s message: Eternal incompleteness inspires creation and innovation”, stating it will be an important activity for Tokyo Tech.

Special Appointed Professor Okazaki of InfoSyEnergy Research and Education Consortium appeared as one of panelists in “Dialog for the Future vol.1: Sustainable energy development” presented by DLabas, discussing the future of Hydrogen energy and the significance of Consortium’s missions.

Mr. Nishimura of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. will give a lecture at “3 WISE program Joint Information Session”
For the first time, the three WISE programs in Tokyo Tech (Academy for Convergence of Materials and Informatics (TAC-MI), Academy for Super Smart Society (WISE-SSS), and Academy of Energy and Informatics（ISE) will collaborate to hold an online “3 WISE program Joint Information Session”.
As one of the speakers, Mr. Motohiko Nishimura, Executive Officer and Deputy General Manager of Hydrogen Strategy Division, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. will talk about career paths after completing a doctoral degree, the value of a doctoral degree and actual research activities in companies and society for students and their families who are interested in entering a doctoral program.
